Life Transitions

The sacrament of baptism is an initiation rite into the life of the church, the body of Christ. The Episcopal Church encourages baptism of infants, and those of any age who wish to join the church as it proclaims the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Traditionally, baptisms are performed at certain times during the church year (Epiphany, Easter, Pentecost and All Saints Day). If circumstances permit, they may be performed on other Sundays. If you want to be baptized, please call or email the rector for more information.

If you are interested in being married at Trinity, one of you must either be a member or a regular participant in the life of the parish. Additionally, one of the partners must be a baptized Christian, and both partners must agree to pre-marital counseling. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony in accordance with the rite specified in The Book of Common Prayer. Please contact the rector if you have questions.

We encourage you to do as much pre-planning as possible, and we can help you find the spiritual and physical resources you will need to do this. Please contact the rector for additional information.

We find it useful for you to leave us written information about your funeral and burial preferences.  We can provide you a short form that you may find helpful.  Click here to see it.

Trinity Church is fortunate to have a Columbarium in a beautiful setting in the church gardens to offer as a resting place for ashes.   If this possibility interests you, read more here.
