A wonderful ministry of service, the Altar Guild is responsible for the care and maintenance of the vestments and vessels used during the Eucharist, the arranging of flowers, and the set up and clean up of each service.
Chalice Bearers assist in the distribution of Holy Communion. Working with the Priest, they serve the wine to parishioners at the Communion rail.
This ministry requires a brief training which will result in securing a license. Chalice Bearers are scheduled on a rotating basis.
If you have a gift for reading scripture, this ministry is for you!
Scheduled on a rotating basis, the Lector reads the Old and New Testament readings, as well as leads the congregation in the Psalm.
The Acolytes serve at the altar during the Eucharist, carrying the cross in procession and providing the clergy with the appropriate vessels while communion is being prepared.
Open to all parishioners ages eight years old to adults, this ministry is currently seeking more adults and youth to join and serve at Sunday morning services.
Our ushers assist with meeting and greeting at the services.
Their ministry is one of hospitality and is a great way for a newcomer to become more familiar with the people of the parish.
